As a Commercial Refrigeration Technician, you’ll begin your day with a mix of scheduled maintenance and on-call service requests. Your work takes you into restaurants, grocery stores, warehouses, and other commercial sites — anywhere reliable refrigeration is essential.
You might start the morning by checking the temperature controls and compressors on a walk-in cooler, then move to another site to diagnose a refrigeration unit that’s not maintaining the correct temperature. You’ll inspect, troubleshoot, and repair everything from ice machines to display cases — often working around active businesses that depend on your expertise to stay up and running.
You’ll use diagnostic tools, electrical testing equipment, and your experience to solve problems efficiently and safely.
