I wish I could give more than 5 stars! The cold plate freezer in my ice cream truck went down suddenly two weeks ago. I called so many places that shut me down saying they don’t work on cold plates or, if they did, that they wouldn’t be able to help me for a least a month. A lot of places didn’t even have the decency to return my call. I was devastated! A replacement cold plate is $10,000 and converting to an inverter would be a major hassle- not to mention the major task of removing the cold plate freezer from my truck. At first, I didn’t call Fugh because they are pretty far from me and I assumed they would say it’s too far. Feeling hopeless, I just started down the Google maps list and called every number. When I called Fugh, they were so nice and said they could send someone out the next day. They called back and said they had a guy in the area and they could come out the same day instead, if I wanted. Dillon was the serviceman that arrived and we requested a recharge of the system to see if that would solve the problem, which would be the least expensive route. Unfortunately everything leaked out by the next morning. I called back to let them know and they sent Dillon back out a few days later. He was able to find the leak and fixed it and also added a high side port on the compressor to make things easier if I need to have it serviced in the future. My freezer is now working better than it has in a long time! So thank you Fugh Refrigeration and Dillon for saving my beloved cold plate and my business!
